A lot has happened since the last time I published a blog post on my personal website.
I've been super busy with my job to earn my living and my work for Antinatalism Japan, and simply had no time to do anything about more personal stuff.
What's been going on all this time?
Well, there's been one more Annual General Meeting at ANJ (my last blog post was about the 2nd AGM in 2022), we've started street outreach under the name of ANJ which has been super exciting and rewarding, we've moved our website from Jimdo to Wix and enjoyed hugely improved aesthetics of our organization, I've changed my logo colors and made myself, in my opinion, look 500 times better on the internet, Max Verstappen has dominated Formula 1 for a whole season, Oscar Piastri has become my new favorite racing driver, Fernando Alonso has come alive with Aston Martin, and very recently, one of the most shocking driver announcements has been made: Lewis Hamilton is going to race for Ferrari from 2025!
So plenty of things has happened and entertained me for the last however many months.
We've wanted to do street outreach roughly once a month, so we've planned to do our 5th one this month, but unfortunately we couldn't make it happen for this month... so I decided to take this opportunity and get 2 of more personal projects done.
One is building a new PC.
After I shared that I was thinking of building a computer (rather than purchasing a pre-built one), someone gave me a motherboard and an AMD CPU, so I built around them a nice-looking (in my view), liquid-cooled computer!
The motherboard and CPU, I have to say, are not the best in modern times, but looking ahead to the time when I eventually upgrade them, I chose some of the best I can afford now as other components of this computer.
The most importantly, the GPU: GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER.
DaVinci Resolve, which I always use for video editing, wants some big VRAM to work well, so this one with 16GB VRAM, I thought, would be a good choice.
The cooler is DeepCool's LT720 with a 360mm radiator, which is the biggest that could be fit into this beautiful case: CH370, also by DeepCool.
When it comes to computers, cooler means better, right?
So I went for this case with many air intakes/outlets to achieve great airflow.
Another project is this website.
I had bought this domain and Editor X subscription before, but hadn't had time until now to make it publishable.
Shortly after finishing the build of the new PC, I got this website looking somewhat decent, so today I'm officially announcing hozmy.com as my new personal website.
I admit it's pretty empty right now, but I'll be adding some more content over time.
Have a nice day, go vegan, and don't procreate! ✌
